Our First Sunday Roast

Follow Chronicles of Londinium on WordPress.com

This past Sunday we experienced our first Sunday Roast. According to Wiki, the Sunday roast is a traditional British meal consisting of roasted meat, potatoes, with accompaniments such as Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, vegetables and gravy. We decided to travel to Harlington to The White Hart, which is about a 30-minute walk from our hotel. We each ordered our own meat – roast for me and chicken for Nadia.

Observations from our meals: “I think I have found my culinary home” and “For the first time in my life I might have to add salt and pepper.” I will let you figure out who said what! 🙂
