Weekly Update

I can’t believe it’s already October and in a few days we will have been in London a month! Time sure does fly!! With Nadia having her first day of school last week and me getting into my role of keeping the house, things are starting to calm down. We did manage to celebrate my 31st birthday even though Nadia had her first day of school!! With help from my friend Sam, I found The Hummingbird Bakery in South Kensington. After picking up cupcakes, I found a nice Sushi place and picked up dinner. I’ve gotten sushi take out plenty of times, but this was a first where I got a tiny bottle of sauce! I almost kept it because it was so cute!! 🙂

Later on in the week, I traveled to Central London for my first spin class. I bought a Groupon for 20 fitness classes at Bankside Health Club. The class was only 35 minutes, but I got in a pretty good workout. The instructor was upbeat and had great music. I look forward to going back and getting back in shape!

Friday’s are Nadia’s days off and we ran a few errands including getting our bank situation in order, and setting up our cell phones. Who knew that doing two minor things would make us feel so human!! I’m so glad they are both taken care of. We stopped at one of the local pubs for a drink and we were excited to find Sam Adams Boston Lager as an option. It really made our day and week! Until next time!
