Discover the priceless Crown Jewels, join an iconic Beefeater on a tour and hear their bloody tales, stand where famous heads (Anne Boleyn!) have rolled, learn the legend of the Tower’s ravens, storm the battlements and get to grips with swords and so much more at the Tower of London!!
Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress is a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, separated from the eastern edge of the square mile of the City of London by the open space known as Tower Hill.
The Yeomen Warders of Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress the Tower of London, and Members of the Sovereign’s Body Guard of the Yeoman Guard Extraordinary, popularly known as the Beefeaters, are ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London. On days that it does not rain in London (HAHAH!) you can join a tour with one of the Beefeaters and learn everything there is to know about the Tower.
We enjoyed our time at the Tower so much, we became members!!! We can’t wait until we have visitors so we can take them to this very special place!
