Another week in the books! This week was not about the total time we ran, but the duration of each run. This week’s workout: begin with a brisk 5-minute walk, then two repetitions of 90 seconds of running, 90 seconds of walking, 3 minutes of running, 3 minutes of walking.

We started out the week with the most beautiful day yet. The sun was shining and it was even a little warmer out.

It made starting a new week seem a lot easier. Before I knew it the runs were over and we were on our way back home. Easy, right? Well I should have know that Wednesday would bring our first rainy morning run.

Not only was it raining, but the temperature dropped overnight! As soon as we arrived at the park, I knew I wasn’t dressed warm enough. But I powered through it, and before I knew it the runs were over and I was cooling down. Nadia said it was her favorite run so far and you can totally see it on her face! She was having a blast!

By Friday’s run, everything felt a little easier. I’m starting to understand how to pace myself, and working on my form. I didn’t feel out of breath or need to stop. I feel really good about the progress I made this week, and I can’t wait to build on that and conquer next week!
